Getting help for those with a Brain Injury or those affected, Family, Friends and the Work place is much easier than it once was.
Yet, it's finding the right people to talk to or finding the right resources can be very difficult. After all usually the injury was a sudden event and usually very much unexpected.
After having a injury myself it was a intense time working out what the possibilities of help was. Considering mine happened before the internet was in everyone's home or on their phone.
Myself living with a brain injury has impacted many parts of life
This included my marriage, memory of pre accident, and who is going to be there to help in the future.
Usually you will find at hospital much help from the doctors, nurses and specialist's who are involved with the patient.
The big thing today is to ask and learn what you can. Yet, don't make a life plan of looking online for help. This can give you many wrong answers.
It is best to ask the people at the medical department to whom you should really deal with and get the right answers.
The big thing I found is everyone would say "You will be OK"
Unless it is from a medic, it is best not to listen. I've had this injury for many years and have completed some amazing goals which, originally they said was near impossible.
The hard part is, without the patient been really focused, as best as possible. It is hard to move forward and live the best price possible.
After having amazing positions and my own businesses, life is still difficult. Some people would never know I had an injury unless I said something, yet internally it is still hard to live day to day.
Yet, it is possible if you focus and do what is needed, many things are possible.
Always take the best foot forward and even when making mistakes, yes made a few, as long as you not just learn, it is to understand how to change and improve on these. It will make a difference in the future.
I wanted to contact you but didn't find your contacts or contact form.
